Our tip: Don't just choose a board based on colour or design. Boards are usually between 63 and 80 cm wide. The narrower the board, the faster, but at the same time the more tippy it is. Longer boards run a little faster and straighter. This also means that more paddle strokes can be made in succession on the same side. If you are planning longer tours, go for the longer alternative. With a higher volume, buoyancy increases. With a trained balance, you can also sometimes opt for a smaller board. However, if you are just getting your first SUP, have no practice or are planning longer tours with additional luggage, then go for the larger version.
