The awn glass fabric is used for the production of laminates with high strength and is therefore an optimal reinforcing agent. It is suitable for processing with polyester resin and epoxy resin. The thin glass fabric is easy to impregnate, has good formability and therefore lays particularly well. The resin requirement for 1 m2 is about 160 g. Due to the long glass fibers, the resin content in the laminate remains low and the awn glass fabric achieves high strength. With each layer of glass fiber fabric, a laminate thickness of about mm is achieved.
